Hi everyone.

I have been sober now for 5 weeks and am still finding life quite tough going. I am quite shy and have only managed to go to 2 aa meetings in the first 2 weeks. I am wondering if there is anyone on this site who has a bit of sobriety up there sleaves tht could be a temporary online sponser until I pluck up the courage to go to more meetings and ask someone.

Wander down to the 12 Step forum and introduce yourself. There are plenty of folks there that have taken the Steps and had the promised results that can help you through it.
