Some good news

Hello, well I was talking here recently about relationships and the things about them that worried me. I keep reading or hearing about people who find a person they click with and they love. I didn't think I could do that, feel that teenage excitement of first love again, be part of a couple again, you know the sort of thing.

Well, after a couple of shaky starts I have met someone with whom I click. And I do feel that first love type excitement again. It''s sort of amazing how well we get on, we can talk for hours, even though we have surprisingly little in common we share a soul.

So just remember, for anyone who thinks they'll never find love, I understand exactly what you are feeling because until only a few weeks ago I was there too.

Best wishes to both of you ....
Please remember why drinking is harmful to you.

Thank you both, relationship stuff (lack there of amongst other things) was a great trigger for the self destructive thoughts that fuelled the drinking.

Really I just wanted people to know it happens. Of course if I was reading this and someone else had posted what I said I'd probably be all "grrr f... off" but there you go
