I want to quote this bodybuilding little saying so you can relate it to drinking

"you just do it
you get a plan and follow it consistently
you do it on the days you feel like it
you do it on the days you don't
you do it when your motivated and on top of the world
you do it when your down and out.
eventually doing it is easier than not doing it.

be consistent"

Of course this is talking about going to the gym.

But for this forum I see it talking about staying sober. It's perfect!!

It's true really. Being sober is eventually easier than drinking.

Great quote! It is the way I handle my physical fitness, and it is the way I handle my sobriety.

I am at the point where staying sober is easier than the daily workout, because working out, although I feel better after, isn't easier to do than not do.

Working out is easier than not for me because I get depressed when I don't go to the gym. Granted I take rest days when I have to like today. But if I know I am well rested and skip it I feel down. So going makes things better for me. That's the way I take it.

Sobriety, well... If I wasn't sober I wouldn't be at the gym at all. I'd be laughing drunk and then curled up on the couch like a lamer hungover.
