Just a little message that inspired me...
A friend of mine posted this a while ago on her Facebook and I find sometimes it just gives me a little boost. Not directed at alcoholism per se but it's been relevant to my situation. Thought I'd share.
There comes a time in life, when you walk away from all the drama and people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh, forget the bad and focus on the good. So love the people who treat you right, pray for the ones who dont. Lifes too short to be anything but happy . Falling down is part of life, getting back up is living.

I like this loads. I feel like i just have to get the hell away from all the drama, all the histrionics, all of the stuff that was part of my drinking life, let that go, let it subside, and finally, at the age of (whisper) forty-six actually begin to live!
Thank you.
Thank you.

Haha!
I posted the EXACT same thing the other day, in a bit of a heated moment, so it was not put so eloquently. hAHA just funny to me to remember to take a breath and still say what I need to amke my point w/out having people possibly take what I said the wrong way, b/c it was intended for 1-2 people (inregards to basically toic friendships I created before sober) so the other 100 or so friends on my list didnt need to hear my lashing.
This was actually a good message but even better lesson for me this morning.
Thank you,
<3 C
