What have you sold to afford/buy alcohol?
I had a playstation 2 with a bunch of games. I talked to some guy in the bar one night and two days later brought it and sold it in the parking lot, then went back in and got drunk with the money. I even tried to sell my dishwasher lol.
I used to turn my heat way way down so I had more money for beer. My friend would come over and laugh about me and the heat. When it would kick on he'd say, "I see dollar bills floating around." lol

Ive def sold stuff for drugs and booze. Let's see... My subwoofers, iPod, digital camera, jewelry. Actually a couple times even stood outside shopping centers with a sign askin for money. Glad I don't do any of that anymore!
Confession time (and I'm not even catholic). I was in a "position of authority" at a company 15 years ago. I had several gas cards that the crew used to gas up the company vehicles. To make it completely "safe", I was also the guy that audited the card useage and paid the bills. So I stood at a gas station, telling people my ATM card was malfunctioning and could they give me cash and I'd fill up their car for them with my company gas card.
Insanity. But it worked.

I have sold 2 guitars so I could go out drinking alone.
One was a Peavey bass guitar I bought for £160 sold to Cash converters for £50
the other was a Yamaha Pacifica electric which was a present for my 14th birthday... sold for £30 to Cash Converters.
I really regret doing that!
I was on the dole (job seekers allowance) at the time so I couldn't really afford to go out drinking.

Actually I never had any problem with money, even when I was really deeply miserable and lost in drunkness. I am from an upper middle class family and at the time I was finantialy supported by my parents, I was really a pile of s*** during these miserable times.
I surf Kijij, used****** and other sites Friday night, buy then resell Sunday.
I have often been told they need the money for a party or something, it's clear it's to get a "drink on".
It's very sad what people sell for addiction.
I am fortunate that I have never had to sell anything to support my old addiction.

Quite depressing that I would put a couple of bucks in my tank so I could get to work and use the rest on a cheap box of wine when I was waiting on my paycheck. That was at the end when I was at my lowest. Not to mention scrounging in between the car seats for change and then taking all of the change to the machine at the supermarket to get dollars to pay for booze. As I said many a time. I was consumed.
Sounds silly to some but one of the many reasons I am freaking grateful everyday not to live like that anymore.

I sold my humanity and soul for dope
On occasion I would steal your stuff and help you look for it
The worse I sold my integrity
OMG how fortunate we don't have to live that way unless we choose to go back to that insanity.
Just for today I pray if anyone on here is wanting to pickup I hope some of these posts make you think twice.
