Turning myself in tomorrow

Update

3 months ago I was involved in a DUI accident, but never formerly charged. We have been waiting for the toxicology reports. Well I get a call from the lawyer today to come in because they have the report. He said if the report is correct (we haven't seen it yet, just what the cop tells us) I'm lucky to be alive, becaue my BAL was .358. Does that sound possible?? Anyway, tomorrow I turn myself in to face formal charges for DUI and DUI with property damage.

Wish me luck, just going to pray and turn it over to my HP!!!

You'll get through it. It sucks and costs a bunch of money and takes a lot of time, but if I did it, you can, too. Just show up and do what you've got to do. It'll be okay.

Dude, you're still alive. That's awesome!

Sorry that you will have to suck it up and follow the chain gang but been there done that too. It'll be over before you know it, just keep moving forward and don't look back.

The stories you can tell loved ones about that BAC when you are clean and sober.

Sounds like you got your head on strait End. Just do what you have to do and let God handle the rest. The DUI's suck, I got 2 of them, but if we stay on the right path we don't have to worry about getting more.

Dealing with that stuff isn't fun but it's farrr better than trying to hide from it, getting loaded, running......and/or alllllllll the other options.

I'm glad no one was hurt during the accident.

It's good that you are coming forward and taking responsibility for what happened.

I couldn't agree more, Dee. I remember your first posts, End. You really have made huge progress over the past 3 months. You should be proud of yourself.

You can face this and handle. You have the tools. I'm glad you didn't die and you didn't hurt anyone. Could just be a blessing in your life.

That's a sky high BAC, but I've heard of people driving higher...dui is one of the dumbest things I bet the majority of us here have done....but, it's behind us....you're going to be OK...use the experience...hang in there, buddy...

I've unfortuantely had a (much) higher BAC.. so yes, it's possible.

I'm really happy no one was hurt, and I'm proud of you for facing the music head on.

I'm sorry this is happening! Yes, that's an incredibly high BAC, but as others can testify to, it is possible. It's scary to even be somewhat capable of driving at that high of a BAC, isn't it? I feel like most people pass out cold and alcoholics just black out and keep running around.
