Lack of blood flow to the head after i stop drinking.
Lack of blood flow to the head after i stop drinking.
I've noticed over the last year or so that when i have been drinking for maybe 3 - 5 days in a row and then stop, i feel like blood is struggling to get to my head leaving an uncomfortable pulsing like mild dizziness feeling.
Has anyone else experienced this?

We can't give medical advice ...because we simply
don't know what could be happening to you.
It may or not be connected to your drinking.
It's always best to check with your doctor about any pain
or uncomfortable symptoms.
Drinking alcohol is unhealthy .and can do all sorts of damage.
I certainly hope you will consider quitting....
All my best as you and your doctor figure out the provlem

Obviously we're not doctors.. but a dear friend of mine recently went to one, he is an alcoholic, and his blood pressure was 190/100, and the doctor could NOT believe he hadn't had a stroke yet.
Alcohol is literally a toxin, and effects most all systems in the body, negatively and sometimes disastrously.
I hope you see a doctor, that sounds really scary!

B&B;
dizziness is often a sign of elevated BP or very low BP....there are few warning signs of HTN....you need to see your doctor whether or not you are still drinking and have them start an assessment....and possibly meds to help control it.
if that's your pic, you look like much too young a person to have these problems....smoking also contributes to blockages.
you aren't able to DX whether there is lack of blood flow to your head, but your doctor can help you, answer your questions and put you on the right path with encouragement and sound medical advice.
you might want to consider writing down all of your symptoms and questions before your appt....be truthful so he/she can help you...they shouldn't judge, but help.
