relapse was short-lived and I'm back on track

Some of you may have noticed that I relapsed last week, after more than 3 months. Well, that only lasted a day. So I'm once again reaching a week sober now.

If you acquire enough "tools" in recovery, I think it makes bouncing back much easier. That was my experience, at least.

My heart goes out to all of you who are struggling for sobriety.

Yeah and congrats! I read an interestin article in pyschology today that agreed that relapses could be useful with the right attitude, which it sounds like you have:-)

that's exactly what I'm afraid of after I get out of detox/rehab. I'm glad to hear you've been able to recover from the relapse!
