Benefits of not drinking:
-Morning went from being my most dreaded time of day to my favorite. I can't wait to get out of bed.
-According to my math I have about 8 more hours of productive time every day.
-Procrastination is a thing of the past.
-My energy has skyrocketed. The only challenge is finding enough things to do.
-At least $130/week saved equates to about a $9000/year raise before taxes.
-I'm eating as much as I want and still losing fat because I don't have to burn off the empty calories from alcohol in the gym.

The thing about having 8 hours more productive time a day is a big one for me. I've been procrastinating for months getting my license back in order (although i dont need car here in the city), volunteering at the hospital and taking pharmacy technician exam, but instead i would get home from work drink, sleep, wake up stare at TV screen in a blank stupor for couple hours then go back to work and rinse then repeat.
