day two

On my second day without drinking. This site helps keep me focused...because I tend to forget the seriousness of my addiction and drink yet again. I will come here everytime I crave a drink, it is such a good tool. Much love to everybody!

Congratulations, wolf - keep taking it a day at a time - you can do it! SR really helps me stay sober, too. Keep posting!

Wolf99,

The first few days I stayed on this site reading all day. Took my mind off drinking and the hours passed quickly. Was taking it an hour at a time then. Now on 30 something days and its alot easier. I still come here to learn and help if I can. Keeps me focused on staying sober.

Welcome and stick around for a while. The people here are the BEST.

To opivotal, that is exactly what I have been doing! I've just been reading a lot of peoples stories on and off throughout the day...it really helps tremendously. I am on my fourth day now, and am starting to feel a little bit better. In the morning I'm still extremely thirsty and ache. Within a few days it should pass though. I've done this before, but only lasted to 23 days...it was a while ago, and I wasn't taking it seriously enough. But tomorrow I think I'll start working out again...just got P90X. I just want to be healthy and feel good like I used to, because right now I just look and feel ill. I kind of get obsessed with working out, but that will be my distraction for now, it makes me feel good And congrats on 30 something days....I can't wait until its been a month. I havn't gone that long in at least 4 years. Takes a lot of focus.

Good for you....

Drink lots of water...it will help flush out the toxins
and get you back in balance quicker.

Wolf99.....Congratulations to you! I've been working out everyday. It really does help your mind and body. Some days I have to force myself, but I always feel better after its over. Besides I'd rather be a bit obsessed with exercise than alcohol. lol I still come to SR daily .......keeps me focused on my goal. Stay strong I know you can succeed. We'll be routing for ya!! :ghug3
