Introduction
I have been giving comments and support since I found this great site, but neglected to introduce myself. My Bad. My name is Bruce and I'm an alcoholic. I've been sober since Nov.7th 2004. I am an active member of Alcoholics Anonomous,of which I attend meetings on a regular basis, I have a sponsor, and I sponsor other men. I am a full time student and I work full time, although I am out of school for the summer. I live in real Northern California, I have a wife, 3 grown children and 2 dogs. I have 2 wonderful Grandchildren and all the problems of someone who spent the majority of my life doing what I wanted to do. I'm a Christian (for which I fail often) and I somewhat regularly attend church. AA has taught me that I can't judge or else be judged so when it comes to Higher Powers, the choice is for the individual, not the group. It says that in our literature. I have read so many great supportive posts and got to meet a few of you and I am looking forward to continuing my sobriety and my participation in this forum. It has helped me immesly in the short time I've been here. Nice to meet you all. God Bless
