i tried several times to post last night to no avail..........but yesterday marked 7 days sober for me.........7 days...........one whole week.......one whole ENTIRE week of no drinking............i can not remember the last time i went an entire week without alcohol..........i am feeling great (though i am still not sleeping well) and motivated more than ever.............thank you to everyone for your encouragement and motivation during this transition to a sober more fullfilling stage in my life.

Congrats to you! A week is huge. I remember when that was the longest I'd been sober in forever... it felt strange and foreign but so good at the same time. Keep up the good work!

Congrats on a week.
Every week it gets easier.
I couldn't believe one day I walked into a quicktrip after work. I bought a bag of chips and a diet DR pepper. I got back in my car and realized I did it and never even looked at the beer in there. Stick with it and the same will happen to you quicker than you might think.

sorry for the delay in giving out thanks for the encouragement......internet is giving me problems and i am so behind in all the newest posts........soon i will be out of the less than two weeks crew as well....day 10 is coming to an end
