I think my post was mis-understood.

Maybe I should have stated just take it one day at a time.

Ozark, I don't think anyone was saying you shouldn't BE here if you don't want to quit, I personally was just wondering what you were looking for. Thank you for clarifying.

I was scared as hell to quit drinking, I get that. Thinking of never drinking again freaked me out, I LOVED to drink. My body didn't like it much, nor did my husband.. nor did most of the rest of my life that I was totally missing out on because I was drunk, hungover, or wanting to drink soon. Quitting drinking as a life sentence? On this side of the fence, continued drinking was a death sentence. I feel more freedom now than I ever have in my life, no longer at the mercy of a drink, or a buzz..

Stick around, lurk if you want.. it's a public forum. There's a lot of folks around here who know how to get and stay sober, if you want that I'm sure you'll learn a few things. There's also unfortunately a lot of folks still struggling just like you, and that's likely helpful as well.. we understand this stuff, ya know?
