1 month

Not sure what to say about it. I've done a month before, so no big deal. I'm aiming at a minimum of 2 months to double my previous time. I'll probably drink again, but I just keep putting it off till tommorrow. Maybe I'll get around to it one of these days - just not today. .

Matt, congrats on your first 30 days and I hope you can follow it up with a lifetime of sobriety.

I try not to entertain the option of drinking again, I don't need to take another drink. If I have a craving it's just the disease lying to me again.

Congrats on a month!!

My DOC was crack. I kept telling myself that I would give recovery my all for either 6 months or a year (now I can't remember) and if I didn't like it, I'd go back to the crack. That was over 2 years ago.

We always have a choice. I'm glad you're choosing not to drink today!!

Hugs and prayers!

Amy

Good for you Matt. I'm on my first day and already jonseing for some liquid death. Seriously thought about grabbing some when I was at lunch and working the rest of the day sideways, but I didn't. Keep up the good work dude.

That is cool. I had 2-3 years back in my 20's, but that was due to overworking and school. I didnt even have time to sleep. So maybe keeping busy helps. Good luck to you.

Hey man good job. Its your choice weather to drink again or not... but at least your giving it a try. Stick with it till you realize your better off without a drink--thats just my advice...
