Thanks Carol. Been a hard few weeks, but I'm hangin' in. We'll see how things are tomorrow I guess. Tomorrow WILL be another sober day no matter what though.

Sounds like you have a lot of friends needing your support right now.

To be honest (this is about me, not you) sometimes I am terrified by other people's needing me.

I'm sending you strong vibes for a "strong" day in which you choose not to drink and to face life on its own terms.

Thanks Theresa. I spoke to him today and we're planning on getting together tomorrow to go do a few things like visit Bass pro shop or something "guy related" like that. (we're both fisherman/outdoorsman)

Hopefully it will help take his mind off things for him, as well as make me feel better that now I can actually be sober and there for a friend now.
