I Have to Get Honest With My Self
It's Been Approximately 2-Weeks That
I Been Getting Urges To Drink Specially
Now That The Summer Is Here Is scary Feeling
as I post I could Feel the Dryness of my
Mouth and my Lips Thirsting for a Nice Cold Beer
I'm Very Scare cause I don't feel Strong enough
and is weird cause when I star it my sobriety
only at the beginning I Felt week but Why? Now

Thanks for posting. I have days when I want to throw down. We went to the lake on Saturday. That was tough. I saw all the folks partying and I wanted to be a part of it. Sometimes I don't believe that I can enjoy myself without alcohol, although I prove it to myself time and time again.
I did not give in to my selfish craving despite its pull. I cannot let this thing beat me. Sunday morning was sweet…no regrets.
Keep fighting the good fight! I'm right here with you and I understand.
Day 52~

The untreated alcoholic mind will always go back to the drink. You appear to be suffering from the mental obsession, craving occurs when alcohol is ingested.
I am not special or particularly unique, I followed a process which has worked for a long time for a lot of people, the 12 steps of AA. I don't know if you go to AA or not, I will be the first to say there are many paths to recovery, find what works for you. I am just sharing my experience. Today I am free. I would want anyone who was still suffering to have this release.
