Understanding the alcoholics behavior and thought process
" I've got something to say about your great questions about your man and his alcoholism. "
RobbyRobot....Thank you so much for your share! Its always comforting to see the "other side" My AXBF just cut me out of his life and it hurts me deeply. After not seeing him for a few days, we spent a few minutes together and before we said goodbye and I gave him a kiss on the cheek and rubbed his face, he said "I miss being loved" and for all the lies he told me, I 100% believe that he does miss me! He rather cut me out so he can continue to to drink, and that just rips me apart. The wonderful thing in all this is that because of him, i was able to FINALLY, at the age of 44, take inventory and see why and how I got where I am. I want to say its getting easier but somedays are quite hard to get out of bed! He still isnt talking to me but I pray that one day he will reach out and I will be able to tell him that I get it now...maybe a little, but I get it!
