Well here i am still without any alcohol, plus the desire to drink is not there, YET ... I found out that the NA meetings are a big help to me along with AA,
Where i live we do not have AA meetings everyday ,so to fill in the blank i went to NA which was the same except the drug of choice, there are some people with dual addictions, but it is a relief to have filled the void in day's when we do not have any AA here.
I suggest to anyone who can't make AA meetings to go to NA..
Anyway i am doing good , but finding it hard to stay in the moment, that one day at a time thingy is a bi#$@...

Yes, the one day at a time thing is difficult at first but with time it becomes a blessing. Keep up the good work.

Congrats on 7 day's child. Kinda cuious where you live. I am about an hour south of Ashville, and we have lot's of good meetings here. If you want to pm, and let me know how close we are might be kinda cool.

Ashville is a great great great town. I can't say enough good things about it.

I went to the Bella Cher(??) festival once there..

I was super-impressed with the area and the people and the food..

I hope to get there again someday soon. Maybe move into that Biltmore house
