Internet Addiction
Anybody else get up in the morning to check their email and then spend hours on the internet?????? It is not like I dont have a life but Jeez....I really need to be more disciplined. I will read my email and log off and I will not change my mind.

My husband gives me a hard time because I used to swear I had no use for the internet whatsoever....now I have to be forced offline!! I have been telling myself also that I need more discipline............maybe I'll work on it when I'm done surfing the net!!:p

I work on the internet and yes, in order to avoid work I end up killing time at a couple of forums located at *soberrecovery.com.*

Sometimes I can kill 5 hours here and the only reason I'm aware of the amount of time is because my dial-up connection times out. The scariest part is that I sometimes reconnect. Pretty uncommon lately though.
Apart from being here, I am often found playing online Scrabble. I am definitely addicted, getting that 375 point bonus is the high I chase.

Yeah, I found myself spending to much time here at SR when I maybe should be working at work..................should be logging on at home. My free ISP (at home) has been disconnected. Yes it was a legal free offer. Netzero and Juno no longer offer free access (in my area).

Niner... I wouldn't know ANYTHING about internet addiction--NOT!! I was just disconnected for a day and d*mned near broke out in hives!!
I can sit on the puter all day.

Yup, yup, yup! My name is Chy and I am an SR addict! *JK* I prefer this to the alternative! It is a healthy compulsion that keeps me sober, safe, and above all happy! I love this place man!
