Day 15, at last I've done it.
I finally beat my past record of going without a drink for more than 14 days *in the period of the 2 years and a half I was drinking* though I feel no actual thrill/accomplishment and my brain is still messed up like hell, I'm on Day 15... I know some people probably doubted me if they had seen my past posts... I finally got past my 2 year old record, and hopefully in more weeks I'll feel better.

Good Job Paulos! It is quite an accomplishment. The best part is you are no longer physically addicted...your body no longer needs alcohol. Now its mental. You can do this, we all can..one day at a time! I love waking up without a hangover don't you?
Congratulations, Paulos! The longer you don't drink, the better things will become. Improvements come gradually, because we drank so much for such a long time. Just keep adding a day at a time. One day you absolutely will fill like a new person. The longest journey begins with the first step. Stay strong. You will never be sorry that you did not drink.

Paulos you are worth the fight. My Mom always says God helps those who help themselves, you are on the right path! The light at the end of the tunnel is no longer an on coming train...it is freedom. Be proud of yourself and know it is possible to remain sober no matter what!
