Hi Patrick....
What is your point in posting
this old video of an alcoholic suffering?

I understand the man is now in recovery.

Have your kids taken any of you?
Please share your own experiences.

strange sense of humor

The subtitle for this video on the YOU TUBE website reads as followed:

About This Video DAVID IS ACTING IS NOT DRUNK

So, he is not drunk in this video, does it remind me of what I was like, yes. Is this your attempt at humor? if so I don't get it. Last time I read any posts from you it was YOUR DRINKING that needing addressing.

he was actatually drunkmnobody sober can ever mock a drunk alcoholic no matter how good of an actor they are!
no,this was not in humor,it was my way of expressing where i still am.

i always said tomorrow i will stop but tomorrow still has never arrived.somehow i managed to put things back together but havent gone more than a day without a 12 pack of beer. again im trying without having to enter a in-patient rehab even tho it sounds like a promising way out of this.
when i watch that video i see myself, the same guy many people have seen including my family(its been about a year since i got that drunk tho). hope i didnt offend anybody by posting that, its just that it screams at me! "STOP NOW!"

Hi Homer, hope you and your family are doing OK and you're able to put down the bottle soon and find some peace of mind. It's not impossible.

Hey Homer
I see where you are coming from. There IS a solution, you know that. You also are worth it and I hope you find recovery and sobriety before it's too late...
Hugs and blessings

PS Remember us struggling together - I'll celebrate 2 years in March, God willing. Sobriety - thanks to the Grace of God and AA - is so amazing. I hope you find it honey.

There are those that have quit and put alcoholism behind them. They're the ones that don't need to be reminded, they are the ones that will always remember.

Patrick glad to see you are still alive, is it still worth it?

Look man I love you, but until you give up/surrender there is not much I can do or say to help you, I and millions of others know the solution that worked for us, and it can work for you as well. When you are really sick and tired of being sick and tired, find a program and work it!
