I just found this on Google also

My H has been drunk every day for the last 15 years.....the possibility of wet brain terrifies me. Drunk, angry and then throw in confused!!!!.

I fantisize that he will stop some day, but if he loses the mental fuction to make that kind of decision??????? He lost a friend in exactly that way, H is determined that he committed suicide because HIS wife (she waited too long I guess) was finally packing to go. Of course, thats what he wants to think.

I have met people in recovery who act drunk (slurred speech, ect...) yet claim many years of sobriety. After getting to know some of them, I have begun to suspect that this may be one symptom of "Wet-brain".

For example: The comedian Foster Brooks sounded wet-brained as part of his act.

Thank you Dee, I have been lurking on the FnF from work (sneaking) for the past days and have found this place to be a huge blessing, but I have to hide my tears. I will post on the Welcome spot later tonight at home...when I hear him snoring.
