Aw, shucks, folks.... thank you.
You know, something I remember through the fog of that day I reached out, actually five years and two days ago (I got clean two days later) was the voice of an anonymous woman who answered a hotline in the middle of the night. She said, "You never have to feel this way again."
She was right. She became, and remains, my sponsor today.
Thanks to god, the 12 steps and the fellowship (which includes all of you!), I have found, kept and tried my best to freely give back the recovery that was handed to me, no strings attached.
I owe my life to all of the above.
