How'd I do it ?

In a nutshell

Meetings (lots of them)
Commitments
Got a Sponsor
Read the first 164 pages of the Big Book
Had my sponsor take me through the steps
I got phone numbers, and used them
Stuck my hand out to newcomers
Pray (Please in the morning, Thank You at night)

Now, I'm looking at the principles behind the 12 steps, and seeing where I can practice them in all my affairs. I even have a couple of sponsees.

If I can do it, you can do it. Do what I did and you'll have a year too. If you have more time than me, keep doing what you're doing.
