There I was thinking how much i loved and respected this person and how proud he would be of me when i told him what I was doing and only to be told what a "weak willed" and "weak minded" individual I was for reaching out for help.
Good for you for taking hold of your safety despite what others think or believe.
My xhb has been clean for about 16 months, I still get pangs from time to time and it took a real long time for me to really trust him again with our kids. He continues to make ammends just by staying clean and being a good father.
Patience.. it will come as long as you continue on the road of good intentions.
