4 years already

Howdy doody everyone. Just paying my annual re-visit to say hello to everyone and thanks again to SR.

I even forgot it was the anniversary until yesterday. 4 years now, doesn't time fly.

Hope everyone's well and good luck and thoughts go to everyone who's in the ring(er) still.

Take care everyone

Love Deg.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. I really couldn't have looked forwards 4 years to this point and looking back it's shamefully hard to admit that the really rough times are less painful to try and remember - I've never spoken to people much about what happens from here.

On the very rare occasion when the sun shines in the UK, a cold beer sounds like a lovely idea, or in a restaurant look at the cheese and remember how it works with each wine , and that really annoys me. And I suppose it has to. But, on the whole, the thought of the stuff doesn't enter my world much at all any more. How good is that?

I'm stronger, healthier, more relaxed and more stable and haven't done anything really, really stupid for years now. It's a bit pipe-and-slippers, but that's ok.

Keep on, buggering on, everyone. I know I'm only an annual migrant now - but I aim to keep it that way! If anyone is ever in need of a sober chat though, I'm usually around on email or somewhere.

All the best

Deg.
