sobriety feels better than anything in a bottle.....

hi all....just a quick note today....my daughter and i went out for dinner last night...and on the way home she asked me how long it's been since i have had a drink,and if I have,"slipped" at all....I proudly told her,"it's been 88 days,and no,I haven't slipped"...She then said,"Mom,I love you even MORE now".....
Talk about the rewards of staying sober....KT

Man that is a great feeling isn't it? One of my twins always reminds me when I have an anniversary coming up, I am doing my 9th step amends now and it feels great for family to tell me how much I have changed and how proud they are.

Keep it up, it keeps getting better, congrats on the sober time.
