Scary Story

Thought I would share a funny but scary story.

Tonight at my daughters girl scout meeting, the activity was to touch, taste or smell each of 3 items, and write down what it felt/tasted or smelled like. What possessed the leader to use Jim Beam as one of the smells, I’ll never know, but one little girl announced that it “smelled like Grand mom’s breath” Her Mom about died, and then quietly explained that Grandma always seems to have a nip handy.

So for those of us that think our young ones don’t notice...

Best to all!

Alkies are everywhere

Who knows, maybe the scout leader is one, and had to think up a quick excuse to cover up her smell.

What was she thinking, Dunno, Unbelieveable, for sure! Seemed a little out of place to me.

i was a brownie leader once. i took over my daughter's troop after the old leader skipped town with all the cookie money. jeez. i could never get the parents to donate a penny to that troop after that. i spent a fortune trying to right that lady's wrong. i actually hated running the troop, just not my thing and at the time i worked 2 jobs and barely had time to breathe, much less organize THAT. but i did it. just out of principle. doing the next right thing? sorry - off topic..but your story just made me think of that. k
