I'm back.
So I finally just now dumped out the alcohol I've had sitting in my fridge for the last 4 months. I don't know why I kept it, but I dumped it out about 5 minutes ago. I felt weird doing it for some reason and now I feel like my anxiety has risen a little.
Having it in the fridge may have been like a security blanket, knowing it was there if you needed it, by pouring it out you take a big step in the right direction by telling the beast that it is no longer needed for comfort. The anxiety will get better with time, the more time I have sober the less anxiety I have.
