Smile 13 days - 2 weeks tomorrow

Good morning kind friends,

Well, I am still hanging in there. I feel really good about myself and what I am
doing to make my life better. I have been to 3 AA meetings so far, they were awesome. I am becoming clear about what I need to do with my life. I plan to start reading the Big Book today. I have gained a lot of knowledge that I need to spend time processing. The other thing I want to do is start a God box.

It's going to be a day that's all about me. So please excuse my selfishness.

I hope all here enjoy a wonderful sober day.

Carol

congratulations, carol!

I have 'selfish Sunday', myself. That' just a day for writing in journal, comtemplating the mountains outside (or the stars, depending on the time of day of course) NOT worrying about chores or anything else ... so youi have a great time!!!!

YEAHHHH CAROL!!!! All about you is fine for now. A day will someday come when you find yourself to be not the "newest" newcomer at a meeting. And then you can slide your chair over after the meeting and chat with that person. You'll know when it's time. I can't wait to hear about the first time that happens to you.

Until then, enjoy the Carol Time! Find out what YOU really enjoy doing! It's all about rediscovering who you are. You'll like her, I promise!

You are a miracle, Carol! We all love you so much, and love hearing about your journey!!! xo

PS Here's a little saying I learned: Self-care is not self-ish.... It truly isn't. Do what you need to! Reading the BB and taking care of yourself spiritually is exactly what we all should be doing.
