Changes I've noticed...

Positive changes I have seen in my sobriety so far :

- I am not as angry, short-fused anymore (I was never a violent drunk)
- Happier person and more pleasant to be around
- Much more optimistic view on pretty much everything
- ability to handle problems much better
- clear head
- back to my diet and hardcore weight training routine
- less anxiety
- the urge to drink is pretty much gone now
- everytime I think of how I used to drink, it makes me sick
- more money in my account
- ability to set goals and stick to them has increased
- getting more stuff done around my condo (finally)

One day at time...

Here is one of my favourite sayings that I keep with me :

"Forget mistakes. Forget failures. Forget everything except what you’re going to do now and do it. Today is your lucky day"

Toronto that is fantastic, as golfman says, it gets better all the time. When I had 30 days I thought it could there was no way things could improve more, I am now at 164 days and still as golfman said seeing improvements physically and mentally, I have had a couple of old timers tell me that some folks see noticable improvements for over a year.

BTW congrats on the 30 days.

Nice to see what kind of perks you get by staying sober.
Another motivation to stay away from the devil in a bottle.
