60 days today.
I'm feeling a whole lot better. I'm working out more and filling my time with more productive endeavors like studying and spending time with family.
I've noticed a strange thing. After I quit drinking, I had a really hard time concentrating while studying. This last week is the first time I've been able to get back to that "intense concentration" I usually have that allows me to really absorb information. I've had a couple bad tests since I stopped drinking, but I feel pretty good about a test I took today. Hopefully my grade will indicate the return of "my concentration".
All in all I am doing great.

Great job! As already said it is normal to have problems concentrating, I am not sure if this is normal or not, but when I was drinking I had no problems with concentrating, when I first quit it took me several months to get back where I had been before I quit, but the serenity made it all worth it, now at 5 months I find myself amazed more and more every day with how to head is starting to work better.
Hi Taz,
There was something in under the influence regarding this: I'll look it up.
But it is normal according to the book I remember that much...
Stone, just keep remembering this moment when you get an urge.
Also make a huge list of reasons why you don't want to drink, and carry it with you everywhere, and pull it out when needed. ((((((((hope3))))))))
