That being true, I believe at times I have more opportunities to grow than I am equipped to handle. Just have to deal with it as it comes and eventually it to shall pass, I hope.

Thanks, it was through these practical experiences that God strengthens me. Physical sobriety must come first because Mental & Emotional Sobriety is impossible without it. That is why personal development through the process of our 12 Steps is so important. Just not drinking was not enough for me and if I sweep the emotional and mental stuff under the rug, the physical sobriety itself becomes threatened.

My pendullum still swings, but with a much greater melody when approaching balance in body, mind, and Spirit.

The first thing that came mind when I read this letter is that at least today, in sobriety, the adversity I'm dealing with is called living life on life's terms. I'm not creating my own adversities, thereby adding to what comes naturally. AA not only gave me a way to neutralize the problems I created but has also taught me how to accept with gratitude, the little consequences of day to day living.
