There is always a decision we made in the beginning that sets the ball rolling.
With ACAs this is often a very subtle thing our minds do, so we can end up angry.
I would have to ask you some questions to find out what you did at the start that landed you in this position. Some that come to mind:
What has your history with this person been like?
How do you know them?
What was your common interest in wanting to travel to the same place?

When I have a reaction like thinking of cutting someone off, it's because I have a resentment.
What I love about the 12 steps is there's no judging myself. A "moral" inventory just means the "truth".
I look at the truth so I can outgrow my old patterns.
