You did an amazing thing! Congratulations! I went to the doctor about a week ago for a new patient exam and all, and I had intended to tell him the truth about how much I drink, which is a subject I have never broached with a doctor. I chickened out, though, and just focused on being depressed and my thyroid issues. He even asked at the end if there was anything else... I scrunched up my face and had a quick inner battle, and then just went with, "No, that's it."

Well unfortunately that physciatrist didn't pan out. Doesn't take my insurance. I'll either call my regular doc tomorrow or when I see him next week ask for another referral. I was pretty disappointed when he said he didn't take it, but what can you do. I just have to stay focused on myself anyway.
