Oooo- I think I missed a day? Well, I'm still great and definitely not smoking. Looks like I'm not alone! .
I just remembered I had some vitamin C and have started taking that. I'm hoping to run by the store this week and at least get a Women's One a Day Multi, but I think I should get a B complex as well? Dunno. Have a great day everyone and stay safe!

Getting close to 30 days. Feeling great. This has been such an eye opening experience for me. Quitting has effected so many aspects of my life in a positive way. Thank you again for being part of this with me.

Day 10 has arrived. I will admit, I'm in a very foul mood. Not to worry- I'm not going to kick puppies or anything. I'll just stomp my feet and pout like a 5 year old. Ok- thank you for letting me fuss. Time to go read something that inspires me or makes me laugh. Btw, I'm typing this with one hand as the other is currently giving a middle finger salute to my old friend the cigarette.

Day 28 still feeling strong and have managed to stop constantly shoving sugary things in my mouth so hopefully some of the last four weeks weight gain will start to drop off.

Lol Tally I know exactly how you feel ! I wasn't too bad this time but in the past when I've quit I've been an absolute snarling raging animal who could also burst into tears and sob like an over dramatic toddler at the slightest provocation. Talk about out of control. Sugar sugar sugar is the only thing that helps! At least it doesn't last long and passes pretty early in the quit!

Day 12 no cigarette! Tally I know exactly how you feel! I could wake up and be the most hostile woman on the planet! There were days all I did was complain and moan! Lots of woe is me days! You have no idea how many times I've had to snap myself back to reality that I quit! Its weird when that happens. When my mind thinks I need to go out and light one up.....then have to remind myself that I do not smoke anymore!!!!! Ha! Crazy!

Things is I spend 300$ maybe more on pop and cigs cause I have to have pop when I smoke today I drank like a gallon and a half of pop diet pop. I hope I can quit and save my health and money wish me luck.

Dsmaxis10 welcome! You can do it! Thought I was hopelessly addicted to nicotine in all forms. Decided I was sick of being a slave to this stupid chemical that's making people rich and me poor by killing myself. Have almost 30 days and feel pretty darn good.

Dsmaxis congrats on deciding to break free from the nico beast! I'm on day 13! Trust me...the first few days were tuf! I could hardly get thru the cravings were all day everyday! I was sure it wasn't going to get any better! That I would forever crave and miss my cigs! I had built my entire life around them! I knew each and everything I did would be followed by a cigarette! All I could do is grab hold of recovery and these fine people here! They pulled me thru when I was sure I couldn't by myself!

Then a miracle happened! After about 6 or 7 days in.....I started forgetting ! Yes! Totally true! I kid you not! I went for several hours without noticing! I didn't think about puffing 24\7 like before! Now at 13 days in....I rarily get a thought! It comes out of nowhere sometimes...but all I do is remind myself that I dont smoke anymore....get on here and read these threads....and its gone as fast as it came on!
Try it! Give yourself a week and I guarantee it will change your beliefs about nicoteen addiction! That you really can beat this and become free!

Good luck!

CleaninLI you are so right on! Dsmaxis we are here for you. Quitting smoking cold turkey can't kill you like alcohol can. Stick with it and I promise you will feel way way better. Quitting nicotine has given me something to be very proud of. Make the decision that you are not a smoker anymore.
