Week 15,
Staying busy at work and trying to think positive. Things are a little difficult in the office right now due to some transitions with employees and I'm having to handle a lot of responsibilities. Just going to take things a day at a time though.
It has been an opportunity for me to grow a lot and build confidence, which I certainly appreciate. And I understand that even if things are difficult, I'm in a good place in life right now. Holidays are coming up again, so I'm excited to be home with my parents soon.
Cheers, all.

Thanks SobreWolf, hope you'll have a great Christmas.
Just reporting in for week 18... I've gotten my pre-vacation chores done and will be spending time with my family soon. I was looking back through my journal and surprised to see that I started it a year ago. Time really does fly.
All the best.

It's week 20 - my 5 month sobriety anniversary for me.
Things are incredibly positive in my life and I'm confident this was a life changing decision for me. I have more energy, am taking much better care of myself emotionally and physically, and am working to improve myself professionally.
All-around, it's been a huge and crazy ride the last half-year. I still have temptations sometimes, but there's a persistent peace about my new lifestyle and I don't intend on returning to where I was. I know whatever temporary 'comfort' addiction can bring is infinitely eclipsed by doing the right thing.
Happy New Years friends, all the best.

Week 21,
Work was super busy this week, so I ended up doing my journaling a little later than I would have liked. Things are still going well though, and I have confidence in myself and the stability of the future.
Happy weekend, all!

Thanks Dee.
Week 22, I'm not doing so hot physically but mentally/emotionally/spiritually I'm well. Hoping the sickness blows over before tomorrow, since I've a busy week ahead.
Otherwise, not too much is going on. Just staying positive and looking forward to the new year.

Thanks Brenda,
Week 24. I've been pretty busy at work... looks like it's going to be a productive year. I'm dealing with some stresses there, including having to learn lots of new technologies while meeting deadlines for deliverables.
Going to be taking things one day at a time in that regard. I like my new job and am grateful to be out of my previous toxic environment, so I'm willing to work however hard I need to keep it.
Nice Sunday to you all. Take care.

Week 25,
I'm happy to say I've been sober for six months now. I'm handling stress and anxiety so much more responsibly these days, acknowledging that sometimes things are out of my control and to just let them go.
Work is still quite busy, but I know I have what it takes to get everything done this week and relax afterward. I'll stay positive through thick and thin.
All the best.

Thanks Dee,
Week 27, still a bit stressed with my work situation but handling things much better than I would have last year. I had the opportunity to go play with some kids in a shelter last Friday which was great.
Things are good overall. I'm in a nice position in life and making sure to count my blessings throughout everything.
Have a great week, friends.
