I know this is said so often in recovery, probably to the point we get sick of hearing it, but recovery really is one day at a time. Hang in there ANew and anyone else who's struggling. It is worth it!!!

Celebrate life! Around this time of year I like to think about the Sea of Cortez and the pods of dolphins that enjoy its waters.

Dolphins only see the realm of air and land in snippets between the jump and the dive. What do they make of it?

I hope you’ll dive in again tomorrow for another 24!

P.S. If you're inclined to pray, please spare a prayer for those however imperfect who give their lives while protecting others from harm.

. Hi friends, my husband & the band are playing a Christmas gig right now, hence the guitar with hearts! I arrived in Idaho, at my parents house, yesterday afternoon. No snow .... Just gray and some rain once in awhile. It's wonderful to be up here with my folks. My husband and son will get in Monday night late. I'm checking in for the 24 hours of my recovery, thanks to my HP & AA.

6pm, Nard Town, CA.
Nice day today. It was easy to go with the flow. Thank you sobriety!

I may not have faith in God or Christ, but the joyous occasion to put lights on a tree, lights in my window, pretty decorations around town, great shopping deals to give to others...make me believe in the holiday spirit and ole Saint Nick.

That's weird because on my IPad I see the oil rig photo in the lower left. Hand corner. It's also on Sober Leigh's posts and Viking's. Ha Ha ... I am totally sober here folks. Really...you guys don't see DaneK's photo?? I've never had this happen...did I press something?

Weird. The honest truth, Bobbi - no oil rig in your post or Viking's or mine.

Freaky...ok...I'm going to get out of SR and come back on. I would usually ask my husband or son to help with these computer type questions...but their home.

It doesn't happen here but it happens a lot in my music collection - sometimes albums have the wrong covers - the one above it or whatever.

I close the player and it seems to right it.

I'm sure its a similar temporary issue Bobbie

Alrighty ....DaneK oil rig is gone. IDk....weird...I just don't understand the tech stuff. But, yeah, when all else fails just turn it off n on ( so to speak). I'll do that to the home computer when it freezes up. I know I shouldn't, but it works.

Sometimes a hard shut down is my only option when things freeze up. On the iPad, there are also 'reset' options under, I think, Settings/General.

Dee, I thought you were talking about LP record albums, and was trying to figure out why just putting it in the record player and closing the cover made a difference.

My DVD's sometimes get in the wrong case...

8:22 PM on Orcas Island.
