An awesome AA meeting tonight. The warmth and support and love in that room. My nice boyfriend for driving me there. The fact that my boyfriend is so fun and enthusiastic, even going to the grocery store is delightful. A nice conversation on the phone with my sister. A sponsor I can call. I always remember where I was and what I did last night.

Thank you all so much, EQ, CC, h&f, v-cat, courage, Briar, Marcher, RZ, Astro, and u.h.!! (And you're WELCOME, too!)
Grateful I finally used the last of the pumpkin from my jack o' lantern. Pumpkin soup, which was pretty tasty.
And grateful I could give useful input to a group at the mental health peer center on dealing with winter and the holidays. Glad to be of service!
Love and hugs,
Eddie

Grateful to be in bed (with freshly cleaned sheets and blankets) sober, and posting here. Grateful for the willingness. Grateful I made another meeting tonight. Grateful to be in a room of people, from all walks of life, talking about spirituality and our relationship with a Higher Power. (The topic was step 2). Grateful to be developing a relationship with God. Grateful for the understanding that I just need to do the next right thing, to focus on today, to worry less about the 'what ifs' and learning about how to ''let go and let God' and turn it over.

Grateful to be home from my first social event since sober. Had a nice time without a drop of alcohol. Well what do ya know...it can be done! Not too long ago I'd have been buzzed before I got there. Great workout for the sober muscles, and now I know I can do these things! Feel like I gave the av a punch in the face and it feels GOOD!!!
