Grateful for having called in sick for today. I need rest.

Grateful the dog is soft and snuggly and so calm now that he isn't itchy.

Grateful for compassion toward self and others.

Grateful I have plans with my girlfriend tomorrow. Grateful although I have moved away, she and I are trying hard to plan day trips together every other month or so. June was the beach. Tomorrow in August is Amish country and antiquing along the way.And October is DC. : )

Grateful to plan ahead as it is so good for my depression to have things to look forward to, as well as staying in the present.

Grateful for the speaker at my meeting this morning. So good for me to hear.
Grateful I took my sponsor's suggestion and spoke. Didn't feel very articulate, but I'm glad I contributed.
Grateful to the smell of brown rice in the rice cooker. Lunch and dinner will be ready to go.
Grateful for tea. Trying to phase out coffee and caffeine, with mixed success. But as long as I stay sober I don't worry too much about those missteps and I I'm headed in the right direction to be more mindful of sugar/ caffeine consumption
Grateful to live in a safe area, where I can walk around.
And like always, grateful for another morning waking up and feeling alright.
