Post Diary of a Mad Cow, Part XVI: "Last Call"

Yes friends (and also people who not can stand me) I think this gonna be last DOAMC thread. Who ever would think it go on this long --certainly not me! I was suppose to get sober and discover how to live happy healthy life in Part I! Part II tops! So yeah, that not happen.

Well we has have our up and downs, yes? To all those still here, and plus also those who has come and gone, and sadly, those we has lost, a very big "moo mwah" from Cow.

PS. I not leaving you or anything. After this one, we can still has a salon thread where is just usual Island of Misfit Drunks gabbing about same crap we gab about here, okay?

Sorry, just got it.

Do you mean in a way you are giving up on yourself with quitting the booze, sort of thing?

Thanks Quirky :-)

I do too. We will never lose faith in or patience with you, Cow. I still consider myself in the midst of the battle, and I have been talking about giving up drinking for 15 years. Double moo mwah with lashings of cream and chocolate.

I'm feeling a bit blue today. I had awful nightmares last night about huge bodies of scary sea water and shark attacks. Not sure why, but yeah, sort of woke up on the wrong side of bed.

You know, this thread brings so much joy into people's lives, Cow. My heart skipped a beat when I started to read your opening post. It's weird and lovely how we help each other in this crazy and often painful soup we live in.

Oh gosh Cow, I totally agree with Shabby about the joy this thread brings to so many of us. Sobriety is tough and I think sharing and talking cr@p here helps us release a little steam sometimes. .. Not to mention the education we get at the foot of the master cow; who that knew orange colored glasses would help me with my sleep issues.
I'm blue too, Shabby. Hope you feel better now.

Thanks, Quirky :-) Sometimes coffee and a ciggie will perk me up (no pun intended), but oy vey, not today. Embrace the blue, I guess.

If I ever help anybody with anything in anyway ...that very humbling to me.

Sleepies, please end you word strike. Who else I gonna talk to about true crime dramas?! I very unhappy with Season 3 of "Surviving Evil". Is huge shift in production, like they making the crimes titillating, instead of just tell the story. Is like crime porn and that not work for me.

PS. You guys is killing me! Fine! Let just keep going, Thelma.

Yeah, I hate it when they do that. That's why I like 48 hours - it's presented in a non-histrionic fashion. I really like the stories behind 'Snapped' (about women who kill), but the woman who does the over-voice thing is so bloody painful I can't bear to watch it.
