Where was I .........
Where was I .........
When I found SR I had been sober for aout 6 months with the help of a supportive family and AA.
However at the time it just didn't feel like I had enough. Greedy I know but I was greedy for more knowledge and advice.
So whilst surfing I came across Sober Recovery and have loved it ever since. So grateful for this site and all the lovely people whom have given me great strength, support and advice.
Love it here.
Where were any of you guys when you discoverd SR? Which point in your struggle or recovery were you?
What keeps you sober? :

I was reading some old posts and happened to come across this.
I was at home really sick with a hangover, looking for answers again online. I was about ready to just give up.
I found SR one year ago on April 25, 2012. I started reading and posting almost everyday, never stopped. Why I found SR on that particular day, I am not certain. I had searched online many times before. Very thankful I stumbled onto SR, using the tools provided here has helped me stay away from the first drink, one day at a time.

I was coming down off a high at 3AM depressed and feeling like a waste of air .... googling crack/cocaine information. Was somehow pointed here in that search for whatever it was I was even thinking to accomplish or learn. And here I am today.. Doing and feeling better than i was in January but i still struggle sometimes. After a few failed attempts my current attempt brings me into my 12th day clean.
thank god for these forums right now. Just saying.
