Withdrawing from the vodka I had been drinking nightly for years. I'm 5 days free from alcohol and today is the first day I have not been with a bunch of aches and pains throughout the day! What a great day! I'm so dang proud of myself! I can't wait for tomorrow! Looking forward to new energy and a new life! Loving life - and am happy I found SoberRecovery. I have somebody to chat with that understands (like whoever out there is reading). Even if they don't it feels good to type out what Im feeling or thinking.
