Where was I?

Desparate, emotional basket case. I've been studying addiction and was looking for a website about cocaine metabolism.
The first website on the list is what I clicked.
It was soberrecovery.com.
Not what I was looking for right then, but after looking over I quickly reallized I had found a website I needed.

Welcome, neferkamichael. Lots to read in the Newcomers forum too.

Take a good look around, pull up a comfy chair and make yourself at home.

The truth, is the truth, is the truth...

In the final chapter, no matter what the addiction, drugs, alcohol or whatever, the truth, is the truth, is the truth, and the truth is, when those substances are out into our bodies and subsequently our minds, we are suffering from a delusion.

Without these, persons suffering from severe mental illness to the extent that every time they come into contact with reality, it becomes distorted would be deemed to be suffering from psychosis.

So, welcome to SRC, it is true that sobriety in any form can lead to those things you mention, health, prosperity, etc., but let it first of all lead you to spirituality and,'the god of your understanding', for despite what others say, there is, for those who come to believe, not faith, believe, no delusion there...I wish you well.
