Felt like a drink, but came here instead!
Nothing can beat that feeling of gratitude that comes after not picking up a drink!!
Was sooo close today....had a bad day and could feel the need to escape with alcohol in every cell of my body.
The usual argument of "i'll just have one" was in full force, but thank God I didnt listen.
A google search bought me in contact with this site.
How nice it is to be here, sober, reading the forums.

Welcome!! I had one of those days today as well and I was so happy I did not turn to a drink. Good on you, I am an Aussie as well. Keep coming back this is a great site and has been what has helped my stay sober nearly 70 days!! life is so so much better.
