Ok
I joined yesterday in the AM. I had been detoxing at home since the 12/31. I drank a box of wine during the day of my husbands birthday on the 30th, I was unable to bake a cake or cook him dinner. I have been drinking for 30 years. I am 49 and my daughter and 3 year old grandson just moved back in. I have been in rehab twice. Only been sober for 3 months, 1 time. I drink daily, even get up in the middle of the night to drink if I have drank lots during the day, so I can function the next morning. I really don't care if I quit drinking, but I for the first time am seeing the negatives for those around me, and my liver won't hold out forever. I am excited to find this site. I don't know much about thread and forums, but feels nice to be here.
Living sober really rocks.
