Into month #2 of sobriety
Well, I am into month 2 of sobriety. Attended AA this week for the first time and found that it exceeded my expectations in many ways. I have also been working a program 3 days a week with substance abuse counslers and am now realizing you can still learn things about yourself even at 50 years old.

Hi Brian, welcome to SRC, being 50, suppose I could say you're a bit of an,'upstart', only joking! I got sober on the 15th of Feb.,2008 at the age of 61yrs, and I've got to admit, I've learned an awful lot about myself, so, a day at a time, aim for spiritual progress, not perfection and with an open mind and an open heart, I'm sureit'll all come together for you.
