A CBT horrible
Wandering around my local town in London - armed with A T Becks Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for Depression - really pleased that I got this mamouth book that would change my whole life, would never give me another worry EVER AGAIN, would give me a new wardrobe, a new hair cut, a fit new body, I realised I had lost it in a shop. Went back and it had gone.
I was almost dry wretching in the street with misery. I was so upset.
Anway, thought I would bang on about the book for a while because it really helped me (when I had it) - it is the CBT bible and most of it has been empiracally test it. For anyone interested in beliefs, rules, and attitudes and how they can totally MESS up your head then its a fantastic book.
I spent hours looking for it, in the pouring rain. Never found it. boo hoo.

I hope your book found it's way into some hands that needed it's message.... ;o)
the universe has a way of working like that ...
and until another one finds it's way into your hands again... one can jsut busy themselves putting into practice all they've learned from that book to this point...
I also wholeheartedly believe in cognitive therapy for depression and the other mental toils...
as I think.. I feel....
I'll be looking for that book as well Millwall.. ;o)
