Attitude Is Everything
You determine your attitude
Your attitude is not determined by circumstances,
but by how you respond to your circumstances.
You can respond positively or negatively to any situation.
It's how you react to events, not the events themselves,
that determines your attitude.
Any challenge facing you
is not as important as your attitude towards it,
for that will determine your success or failure.
Things turn out best for the people
who make the best of the way things turn out.
It's not your position but your disposition that counts.

Gabe, Thanks, it is so simple, yet we have a difficult time. We can predetermine our day in so many ways. The difficult part is we have 2 choices. Many times I choose the bad one and suffer the entire day. Example, The transit, MBTA, here in Boston can drive you crazy. I leave the house some days expecting a bad commute. Trouble when the expected happens it follows me the entire day. Not only reacting to events but, sometimes you can prevent them. This sound simple but, I'm into this positive image thing. I saw a special on PBS. All week I've pictured myself traveling to work problem free. It has worked. Has there been problems yes, I just didn't notice them. My focus was getting to work. Can changing our attitudes like you speak of be so easy? Sadly, it don't work with lottery tickets, but to picture myself with an attitude change, has changed it. I know the MBTA will be happy. The letters to them, the papers and the phone calls. Somebody told me along time ago, I forget often, you have to pick and choose your battles otherwise you can lose sight of the target. Our target shouldn't be a bad attitude. Thanks again for a post that addresses something that can lead right down the path to using. Don W

Well Don, you know that saying "expect a miracle"?
Well, do it.
Expect one.
And expect abundance and joy and light.
When we fill our heads with those expectations, they naturally follow us.
They are waiting to be invited in.
