Faith, Not Fear

"It is crucial for us to learn how to retrain our minds to think in terms of faith, not fear. When you have thoughts of love, it is virtually impossible to have thoughts of fear at the same time. Remember: thoughts of love and fear cannot coexist at the same moment in your mind. How do we get to the point of having faith in ourselves, of being able to disarm the negative and fearful thoughts which may prevent us from letting our lives unfold as they are meant to, in a joyful and fulfilling way? It's really easier than you may think. Your life is meant to unfold in a process of peace, love, and fulfillment in its proper time--much as a seed matures into a beautiful flower, in its own way and time. A flower has the faith that it will unfold, and become what it is to become. It does not need to worry, or get angry that it does not have what it wants right now--it has the patience to know that all happens in the proper moment. Although you are clearly not limited in the same way as a flower, you follow a similar process of unfolding as your life progresses. To follow the way of nature is to follow the way of spirit."

Thank you for posting this, Gabe, at a time when I have been struggling with fear and trying to regain my faith. I needed to read this.

WOW, that was a HUGE lighbulb moment for me. I think I just read that sentence about 6 times before I understood it.

WOW, thanks Gabe.
